Tesla Refunded a Quarter of U.S. Model 3 Preorders

It's being reported that after hundreds of thousands of preorders two years ago, customers are getting their $1,000 deposit for a Model 3 refunded. Analytics firm Second Measure says that 23 percent of pre-orders have been refunded, and although Tesla has since denied those numbers, they decided to not say how much the firm miscalculated.
